Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any result. Madison County Court Docket does not keep a separate log or database of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message, we retain it for the purpose of responding. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, the site’s servers may receive technical information when a page is requested. This information helps operate and evaluate the service.

No Court-Record Data on File
Madison County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case files. The Madison County Court clerk and the Clerk of the District Court maintain the court-level source records. Nebraska public access to electronic court records is governed by Neb. Ct. R. §§1-801 through 1-810; the state’s Public Records Act definition and court restrictions also affect what may be available. Use the official court route for an actual record.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes that appear on some pages. Information supplied to those tools is subject to the provider’s own privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules. We do not control those practices, so review the provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to court, clerk, statewide case-information, legal-aid, or outside search-provider pages. Once you leave this resource, the destination’s privacy policy governs its handling of information. Read that policy before providing personal details.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to observe activity across websites for advertising purposes. Those systems are not controlled by Madison County Court Docket.

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be available to the following parties when needed for the listed services or a valid legal requirement.

This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Information known to have been submitted by a minor will be removed.

You may ask to review information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or opt out of certain processing. These privacy requests do not create a right to a court file. Access to Madison County court information is instead subject to Nebraska’s electronic court-record rules, the records-withholding statute, sealing orders, and other applicable limits.
